Our Manifesto
Hubdoc helps companies say goodbye to data entry. It automatically converts receipts, bills, invoices and statements into data they can use, exportable to great accounting software, like Xero, QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.

Our vision is simple: no more data entry. We are building an intuitive and powerful application to help small and medium businesses stay organized and spend more time running their business, not their paperwork.
Jamie Shulman
Co-Founder & Co-CEO

Jamie spends far too much time scanning, emailing and organizing his documents. At home and at work. One of his dreams in life is to build an elegant application that will stop the pain. That’s why he founded Hubdoc. Jamie is a recovering lawyer and a repeat entrepreneur. He started Sparkroom with the other Jamie. He studied at Brown University and has a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto.
Jamie McDonald
Co-Founder & Co-CEO

Jamie is trying to build a product that customers will love and that will destroy his filing cabinet forever. He wants his kids to live in a world without paper mail delivered to their home. Before Hubdoc, Jamie co-founded Sparkroom and was an early employee at Expedia. He studied at Duke University and has an MBA from Northwestern University.
Dave Stibrany
Senior Software Engineer

Dave is a software developer at Hubdoc doing backend and systems work. Dave graduated with a Computer Science degree from the University of Toronto and still loves revisiting his old university textbooks. In his spare time he likes to read, go for hikes with his wife and collect retro video games.
Dave McKenna
Senior Software Engineer

Dave spends his time adding new features to Hubdoc and making sure the user interface works flawlessly. He loves the pluggability of the internet and enjoys gluing services together to produce new and amazing things. He studied History at the University of Toronto and spent some time honing his programming chops at The Recurse Center in New York. When he's not working he's probably shredding on his Fender Telecaster or pulling giant tires at the gym.
Yoseph West
Growth

Yoseph dreams of a world where accountants and bookkeepers never have to ask their clients for documents. That's why he joined Hubdoc to lead growth. Previously, he co-founded Vuru, a stock analysis platform for retail investors, and led it through its acquisition by Wave Accounting in 2012. Yoseph holds a LLB from Durham University. He loves traveling, learning new sports and Bourbon.
Tasso Nikitakis
